Hi there,
So it has been a while since my last blog post. I recently installed Vista again – after I made up my mind to get rid of it a few months ago. Then service pack 1 was released so I am using it again. It was so easy to install, nothing like xp or lower -> good graphical interface right the way through.
I am considering getting another GB of ram to help run things a bit faster – currently have 1 GB. Internet Explorer – which I am using – shocking I know – is in fact alot more stable than Internet Explorer running on a XP machine.
I am going to be starting an IT assignment for this Term soon – on the mobile world – any ideas? – I was thinking to go general and do the entire topic, but I dont think that I have the time to do that volume of research and so on.
For those who are interested in learning a bit of Java – there is a very cool website – (Not the greatist looking) but still cool website that gives you assignments to do and then accesses your code online – visit javabat.com for more information.
Anyway, thats all for now,
Noel
cool post – went to look at the JavaBat website. am looking as i write this comment. I am looking at learning Java seriously but havnt actually found time to learn properly. a friend of mine just gave me a copy Eclipse so i must install it and then i should be able to learn fairly quickly.
So u reinstalled Vista did u? very brave, tho i believe that SP1 has improved things quite a lot. But i still wouldnt have installed it. I will be content to wait until Windows 7 appears on the shelves in around a year or twos time. I still find vista very nice to look at but as a production operating system nah. The one thing that does scare me about Vista, besides system crashes, unsupported hardware and a few other things, is the size of the updates that are quite often sent down the line from Microsoft.
A mobile project huh? what kind of mobile project? is it covering mobile apps, the devices, internet apps on mobile devices? I wouldnt go for a broad covering of the subject as it becomes increasingly hard to make your point and you can find yourself waffling and writing a report instead of an interesting project.
anyway, ive written enough – Oh one more thing, i moved Espresso Online to our new server, so that was fun – annoyed me slightly because i couldnt seem to get the wordpress import function to work, but after fidling for a little while i managed to get it working so that removed a little bit of stress.

Thanks for the comment – i agree hey. I have been feeling a bit stressed with the work load but everyone in the class seems to be feeling that way
Cool – I hope I will be able to write more posts soon – lol
