Democrats – They are such jokes!

In the past and as seen in this video now, Illinois (Democrat Land) has had a number of bad leaders including Obama who was a senator. The below video show the lack of transparency that Obama and his friends have.

So far, Illinios has had the following bad leaders that were democrats;

  1. Otto Kerner, Jr. – “In 1969, Marge Lindheimer Everett, manager of Arlington Park and Washington Park race tracks admitted bribing then Governor Otto Kerner and his Finance Director, Ted Isaacs, to gain choice racing dates and to get two expressway exits for her Arlington Park racetrack. The bribes were in the form of stock. Amazingly, the scandal came to light because Everett had deducted the value of the stock on her federal income tax returns under her own theory that bribery was an ordinary and necessary business expense in Illinois.” – wikipedia
  2. Daniel Walker – “In the 1980s, Walker entered the private sector with Butler-Walker, Inc, a chain of self-named quick oil-change franchises later bought out by Jiffy Lube and a pair of troubled Savings and Loans. In 1987 he was convicted of improprieties related to the First American Savings & Loan Association of Oak Brook. Media at the time reported he received over a million dollars in fraudulent loans for his business and repairs on his yacht, the Governor’s Lady. At his sentencing, U.S. District Judge Ann Williams stated, “It’s clear to this court that a pattern was established and that you, Mr. Walker, thought this bank was your own personal piggy bank to bail you out whenever you got into trouble.” The First American Savings & Loan Association of Oak Brook was declared insolvent with a deficit of $23 million and was later bailed out by the United States Federal government. He was sentenced to seven years in federal prison, and served 18 months at a Duluth, Minnesota correctional facility. In January 2001 he requested a pardon from outgoing President Clinton, but his request was not granted” – wikipedia

Rod Blagojevich – “At 6:15 a.m. on December 9, 2008, FBI special agents arrested Blagojevich and John Harris, the governor’s chief of staff.[7][142][143] After the simultaneous arrest at their homes, they were transported to FBI headquarters in Chicago. According to a criminal complaint filed in US District Court, Blagojevich is accused of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud, as well as soliciting bribes. It is specifically alleged that he attempted to benefit financially from his sole authority to fill the US Senate seat vacated by President-elect Barack Obama. The complaint alleged that Blagojevich went on a profanity-laced tirade, saying that the Senate seat “is a fucking valuable thing, you just don’t give it away for nothing”. The affidavit says that in exchange for the Senate appointment, Blagojevich sought to be appointed as Secretary of Health and Human Services, Secretary of Energy, or ambassador, or alternatively, that he could receive a lucrative job offer from a union in return for designating a pro-union appointee. He allegedly also mentioned corporate boards his wife could be appointed to, for which she could receive $150,000 a year compensation. If he could receive nothing for the seat, the indictment says, Blagojevich considered appointing himself, to position himself for a 2016 presidential run and to give himself increased resources to mount any potential legal defense.Other allegations included in the 78-page criminal complaint include several of the schemes outlined during Rezko’s trial. Patrick Fitzgerald, the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, described the corruption as “the most staggering crime spree in office I have ever seen.” In addition, federal investigators alleged that Blagojevich pressured the Tribune Company, parent company of the Chicago Tribune, by threatening to withhold state funds in connection with the sale of Wrigley Field unless they fired certain members of the editorial board who were critical of the governor. Federal authorities obtained recordings of Blagojevich and others after wiretapping the governor’s residential phones and campaign offices, in addition to conversations recorded with the help of one of Blagojevich’s closest friends, John Wyma.Fitzgerald read incriminating quotations from wiretap transcripts at a press conference held on December 9, 2008, in which he said Blagojevich engaged in a “political corruption crime spree” that “has taken us to a truly new low… We acted to stop that crime spree.” Blagojevich was released on his own recognizance on bond of $4,500 after appearing before a US Magistrate. Blagojevich and Harris surrendered their passports. So far at least two of the Senate Candidates mentioned in transcripts have been revealed, Jesse Jackson Jr for Blagojevich, and Lisa Madigan, Illinois Attorney General. Neither is accused of any wrongdoing. Federal authorities have named Jackson as the candidate who was alleged as sending an “emissary” to offer Blagojevich $500,000 in campaign contributions in return for the US Senate seat. Jackson denied the claim, stating, “I never sent a message or an emissary to the governor to make an offer, to plead my case or to propose a deal about a U.S. Senate seat, period.” – wikipedia

This is one of the funniest things that I have ever seen. It was during a interview of SABC 2 with the influencial MP – Nhlanha Nene. I managed to get the video from YouTube where it has become a internet favourite. This interview is from a early morning interview in which we were able to hear the chair crack and later saw Nene fall to the ground and out of the camera’s range.

Whats funnier is the fact that the presenter continued without showing any emotion to the happening and continued speaking – if I was to be her, I would be laughing so hard.

He took it well and stated that “It was quite embarrasing because you know you can imagine when the millions are watching”. Due to the fact that he is involved in the states financing, and the SABC is a parastatal – he was asked if he would be allocating a larger budget to more robust furnature – he laughted a commented that he does not allocate to the SABC.

The SABC phoned and appologised. Nele added that the chair literally broke – “The wheels came completely off”. The interview was completed later and the video that I have attached was apparently leaked from a SABC employee and has been posted all over the internet recieving tens of thousands of hits.

The Obama Assassination Plot In Context

I found a very interesting article about the Obama assassination plot. I am by no means a democrat supporter, I am in fact a heavy conserbative supporter, which you may of noticed by the articles in support of John Mccain earlier on this year. Below is this article;

Colorado is one of several states nationwide where a few motorcycle clubs engage in drug running with some members adopting White supremacist or neonazi ideology. The regions where this is more common include the Rocky Mountain States, the Western Midwest, the Pacific Coast, the Southeast, and New England.

Turf-related murders or revenge killings do occur within such groups, however, since this is primarily an illegal commercial enterprise, rather than an ideological mission, it would be very unusual for participants in such a criminal network to want to call attention to themselves by carrying out the political assassination of a major public figure such as Barack Obama.

In barroom bluster or heated arguments within such subcultures, hyperbolic threats would be a common occurrence, but seldom resulting in actual acts of violence. Police informer reporting of such threats needs to be investigated, but placed in the proper context.

What really scares me is that right-wing talk show hosts and other media scaremongers are creating a hyperbolic rhetorical environment in which credible threats are likely to be generated.
Indeed, the frames through which scaremongers demonize Obama as a political candidate are by now fairly well drawn and generally familiar:

1) Christian Right — Obama is part of the End Times Antichrist attack on true Christians

2) Ultra-conservatives — Obama will destroy America through affirmative action, gay rights, abortion, and big government collectivism

3) White Supremacists — Obama will mongrelize America and subjugate White Americans.

To me this is the real uncovered media story. The threat posed by the men taken into custody in Colorado has, it seems, been relieved. It is much more difficult, however, to address the larger and ongoing threat posed by an established culture of fear-mongering antipathy.

Lets go into those last three points;

  1. As I have writen before, there is great fear that Barack is in fact a Muslim, this is not a confirmed fact, but he does attend a Church that you need to be black to attend – http://www.tucc.org/about.htm – I found the opening page on the website shocking and have attached an extract from it below;

    “We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian… Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain “true to our native land,” the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.”

    Note how many times the word black appears, nevermind the fact that the congregation is American. No where does it mention anything about America – its all about black people and slavery and Africa, is it not right to say that the aim of Christianity is to love everyone? not just a specific race?

  2. As Christian we should not stand and support those who are willing to support the horrors of murdering un-born children – aboortion and people who support gay / homosexual rights. For those who are South Africans, especially younger white South Africans, you will be able to back me up when I say that Affirmative Action is a disaster.
  3. The last point, being the weakist point of all does not stand for all that much. This has happened in many societies where there has been a change in the race of leadership – we do not need to look futhure than South Africa and our neighbouring country – Zimbabwe.
